Added two plain-English style preferences — plainer wording / less elaboration, and compound sentences over choppy short ones — to the english-correction skill’s tone-alignment list, mirroring a new subsection in EDITORIAL.md §10.
The author is a non-native English speaker and prefers a plainer written register than a polished native editor would default to: simpler vocabulary with less ornamental elaboration, and connected thoughts joined into compound sentences rather than strings of short clipped ones. This preference surfaced earlier in the session when the author asked to rewrite a draft that way. Capturing it durably — in EDITORIAL.md §10 as the human-readable standard and in the english-correction skill’s tone list as the enforced behaviour — makes it apply to every future draft and correction pass rather than being a one-off edit. The change is scoped to voice only: it explicitly does not touch the argument, technical content, or concrete detail, and it defers to the living-exemplar corpus where they disagree.
